Direct Replacement for MOPS
Rapid RNA Gel Running Buffer, 10X is a direct replacement for MOPS buffer, which is typically used in denaturing formaldehyde RNA gels.
Faster Gel Results
It is specifically formulated to allow application of higher voltages during electrophoresis without causing overheating or gel distortion. RNA can be resolved twice as fast without adding any additional protocol steps or new equipment purchases.
Denaturing RNA gel prepared and run with Rapid RNA Gel Running Buffer. 2 µg E. coli 16S, 23S RNA (lane 1) mixed with RNA EZ-Vision® Loading Buffer (N717) and 10 µl RiboReady™ 1 Kb RNA Ladder (lane 2) were loaded on a 1.2% formaldehyde-gel prepared with and submerged in Rapid RNA Gel Running Buffer. The samples were resolved for 15 minutes at 16.6 V/cm and then visualized on a UV transilluminator with a SYBR® Green filter.
