A simple 2 part RNA purification procedure that combines an initial extraction step with RiboZol™  RNA Extraction Reagent followed by spin column chromatography to generate high yields of purified, concentrated total RNA.
  • The proprietary spin column matrix binds RNA while the unwanted protein and DNA are washed through.
  • RNA is eluted with supplied Elution Buffer.
    • Excellent recovery of large RNAs such as rRNA and mRNA.
    • Superior recovery of small RNAs including miRNA and siRNA.
    • Compatible with downstream applications including qRT-PCR.

Simple and Rapid Procedure

The simple 2 part purification procedure combines an initial extraction step followed by spin column chromatography to produce high yields of total RNA including microRNA species. Ribozol Plus purified RNA is suitable for downstream applications including PCR.

RNA from 1x106 HeLa cells was extracted and purified using RiboZol ™ Plus RNA Purification Kit. 2μl RNA was used in a 20μl RT reaction with either a 5S reverse primer or miR-21 stem-loop reverse primer. 2μl of the RT reaction was analyzed by qPCR using BioRad’s iQ™ SYBR® Green Master mixes.
Each RiboZol™ Plus RNA Purification Kit includes sufficient RiboZol™ RNA
Extraction Reagent, spin columns and collection tubes for 50 isolations.
