Rapid Transfer

Transfer from gel to membrane in 10-20 minutes. Kit is compatible with standard wet or semi-dry transfer apparatus and with PVDF and nitrocellulose membranes.

Membrane blocking is reduced to 5 minutes.

Rapid Antibody Incubation

Combined primary and secondary antibody binding step reduces total incubation times to30-45 minutes. Kits available with anti-mouse, anti-rabbit, anti-goat, or anti-rat antibodies. Secondary antibodies bind user-supplied monoclonal or polyclonal primary antibodies

Rapid Washes

Streamline each step of your Western Blotting procedure with AMRESCO's Rapid Western Blotting Kit. These versatile kits include all reagents except for user supplied primary antibodies. No expensive, additional transfer equipment is needed. All reagents are protein-free formulations to minimize cross-reactivity and enhance antigen availability.

Kits are supplied for either standard wet or semi-dry transfer apparatus. They are offered with either anti-mouse or anti-rabbit secondary antibodies that are optimized to generate blots with low backgrounds and reduced blotches.
Rapid Western Blotting Kit
β-Tubulin detection with AMRESCO's Rapid Western Blot Kit compared to a competitor's one-hour Western Blot kit. 15 µg per lane of cytoplasmic proteins isolated from K562 cells with AMRESCO's Cytoplasmic & Nuclear Protein Enrichment Kit (M330) were resolved on a 12.5% Fluorescent Sprint Next Gel (M318). An image of the gel was captured immediately post-electrophoresis usinga a UV transilluminator (A), followed by semi-dry transfer to a PVDF membrane using Rapid Transfer Buffer (B1) or conventional transfer buffer (B2). The membrane was cut into strips, which were then used to perform Western blotting using AMRESCO Rapid Western Blotting Kit (B1) or a competitor's one-hour Western kit (B2). Although β-actin protein was detected using wither kit, the signal was significantly better using AMRESCO's Rapid Western Blotting Kit (B1).
