Streamline each step of your Western Blotting procedure with AMRESCO's Rapid Western Blotting Kit. These versatile kits include all reagents except for user supplied primary antibodies. No expensive, additional transfer equipment is needed. All reagents are protein-free formulations to minimize cross-reactivity and enhance antigen availability.

Kits are supplied for either standard wet or semi-dry transfer apparatus. They are offered with either anti-mouse or anti-rabbit secondary antibodies that are optimized to generate blots with low backgrounds and reduced blotches.

Figure 1. HSP90 and B-Tubulin detection with AMRESCO's Rapid Western Blot Kit compared to a competitor's one-hour Western Blot kit. 10 µg per lane of cytoplasmic proteins isolated from K562 cells with AMRESCO's Cytoplasmic & Nuclear Protein Enrichment Kit (M330) were resolved on a 12.5% Fluorescent Sprint Next Gel(M318). Bands were visualized on a Syngene G-box transilluminator with a ethidium bromide filter. Proteins were transferred onto PVDF membranes with a semi-dry transfer unit for 10 minutes in Rapid Transfer Buffer (N789). The blot was blocked, cut into strips and stained with HSP90 and β-tubulin antibodies with either AMRESCO's Rapid Western Blot Kit or a competitor's one-hour Western Blot Kit. Distinct bands were observed using the Rapid Western Blot Kit, while no signal could be detected using the competitor's kit.
Each Rapid Wester Blotting Kit includes

  • Rapid Blot Antibody Diluent, 10X
  • Rapid Wash Buffer, 20X
  • Rapid Blot Secondary HRP Antibody, available as anti-mouse or anti-rabbit
  • Sufficient material for 15 blots
