Shipping Information
AMRESCO packages and ships our products by the most efficient and
cost-effective means that preserve product integrity and conform to
government and carrier regulations. On-line orders can be shipped to domestic business or institutional addresses only. Products cannot be delivered to residential addresses.
Final invoices will be included in each shipment. AMRESCO invoices will reflect any changes to the order and will include actual shipping charges which may differ from the estimated charges provided by the website.
In some cases orders may be shipped in installments with each installment separately invoiced. Orders with items requiring different storage conditions may be shipped separately to ensure product integrity. Each shipment will include separate invoices.
Freight charges
are FOB Solon, Ohio USA. Orders are normally shipped within 24 hours of
their receipt.
Shipping methods
AMRESCO ships by ground transportation and air freight to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of all orders. AMRESCO's shipping department will package products and select the best available transportation to ensure product integrity during transport. Transportation method is based on product storage requirements:

Room Temperature: Ground transportation

Cold: 2 day air. Shipments are dispatched Monday through Wednesday

Frozen: Overnight air. Shipments are dispatched Monday through Thursday
Estimated shipping costs
The total cost of your on-line order will include
estimated shipping costs which may deviate from actual values determined during order
processing. Actual shipping charges are calculated based on the size, weight
and special
handling requirements (frozen, cold and hazardous material) of the
order. These charges will be applied to the final invoce sent by AMRESCO's accounting department.
Government Accounts [GSA]
Shipping charges are included in the product
pricing. Estimated shipping prices added onto on-line purchases will not be
included in your final invoice.
Hazardous materials
A fee may
be charged to an order that includes hazardous materials that pose fire, corrosive toxic or other risks during transport. Designated products include a UN number specified on the product information page.
Special Handling Instructions
Any special handling instructions should be included in the Special Instructions Box on the payment page. A customer service representative may contact you to confirm the information provided.
- Customer designated carrier
Customers may specify a designated carrier by entering
the carrier name, contact information and account number in the Special Instructions Box of the final check-out page. A customer service rep will contact you for verification.
- Single shipment
Requests for single shipments of multiple item orders should be placed in the Special Instructions Box of the final check-out page. A customer service rep will contact you for verification.
- Expedited shipment
Requests for expedited shipments should be placed
in the Special Instructions Box of the final check-out page. A customer
service rep will contact you for verification.
