Gene-PAGE Solutions feature AMRESCO’s Biotechnology Grade Acrylamide and bis-Acrylamide in a ready-to-use, denaturing gel mix for use in polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE). The Urea and TBE are already included in the gel solution. Each product is micro-filtered to remove any particulates, which may physically interfere with polymerization.

Gene-PAGE™ is a ready-to-use, liquid acrylamide denaturing gel mix for the analysis of nucleic acids. Pre-mixed using an acrylamide:bis-acrylamide ratio of 19:1 (Codes: X309, X354 & X388) or 29:1 (Code: K117) Gene-PAGE contains 1X TBE buffer and 7M urea (Codes: X309, X354 & X388) or 6M urea (Code: K117). Simply add the polymerizing agents (APS and TEMED) to the desired amount of gel solution, mix and pour. Offered in convenient concentrations, Gene-PAGE™ saves time and elimates exposure to powdered acrylamide and concentrated acrylamide solutions. Gene-PAGE™ is prepared from AMRESCO's biotechnology grade reagens and filtered for unsurpassed quality. Stringent quality control ensures lot-to-lot consistency for reproducible results. Gene-PAGE is stable for up to 6 months at 4ºC.
