Overview

A pre-measured tablet for ultra-convenient preparation of a working APS/TEMED solution that eliminates the need for weighing APS and pipetting TEMED.

Ammonium Persulfate (APS) and TEMED catalyze the polymerization of acrylamide solutions into gel matrices.  AMRESCO’s pre-measured APS/TEMED Polymerization Tablets provide an ultra-convenient way to prepare a combined stock solution of APS and TEMED that completely eliminates the need for frequent weighing of APS. The stock solution remains stable at room temperature for one week. The tablets offer constant ratios of APS and TEMED to ensure consistent polymerization and reproducible results from gel to gel.

How to Use

Each tablet prepares 1 ml of working solution when dissolved in 1 ml ddH2O. This solution is stable for one week at room temperature.
